In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including the transcription of legal documents and conducting legal secretary. This position requires candidates who can type above 75 words per minute.Responsibilities: • Accurately transcribe legal documents, reports, and correspondence from dictation using dictation equipment and shorthand skills.• Draft, edit, and finalize various legal documents like pleadings and motions.• Manage multiple tasks and prioritize them to ensure they are completed in a timely manner.• Keep office files, supplies, and records well-organized and up-to-date.• Prepare and file legal documents with courts and other relevant entities.• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders about case updates and information requests.• Uphold client confidentiality and ensure all procedures are adhered to in accordance with legal standards.
