We are offering a short-term, part-time contract opportunity for a Legal Secretary. This role involves handling documents, correspondence, scheduling, and maintaining confidential records.
Responsibilities
- Accurately transcribe dictations
- Proofread and edit legal documents, ensuring correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation
- Handle and manage electronic and physical legal files
- Take charge of scanning, photocopying, and indexing legal paperwork as required
- Oversee correspondence, emails, and other communications for attorneys
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and court dates
- Maintain strict confidentiality when dealing with sensitive legal information.
- Possession of a minimum of 2 years experience as a Legal Secretary
- Proficient in Calendar Management
- Advanced skills in creating and editing Word Documents
- Experience in Scanning Documents
- Demonstrable ability in Transcription
- Understanding of Basic Grammar
- Strong command over Proper Grammar
- Familiarity with handling Legal Files
