Job Description:We are seeking an experienced Litigation Secretary to join our legal team in the Bay Area. The ideal candidate must have at least 3 years of public sector experience in one of their most recent roles and a strong background in litigation support. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage high-volume casework in a fast-paced legal environment.Key Responsibilities:Provide administrative and litigation support to attorneys, including case management and document preparation.Draft, format, and proofread legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and correspondence.Coordinate and manage court filings, including e-filing in state and federal courts, with preferred experience filing in the Northern District of California.Maintain and organize case files, both electronic and physical, ensuring compliance with court and firm procedures.Track and manage litigation deadlines, court dates, and attorney schedules.Assist with the preparation of trial materials, including exhibit binders and witness lists.Communicate with court personnel, opposing counsel, and government agencies as needed.Handle administrative tasks such as calendaring, scheduling depositions, and processing legal invoices.
