We are looking for a Mailroom Assistant to join our team in Albany, New York. This role involves handling mailroom operations, utilizing technical skills and fostering a spirit of collaboration.
Responsibilities :
- Manage the receipt and distribution of incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Handle the operation and maintenance of mailroom equipment like postage meters, copiers, and printers
- Employ Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) for tracking mail, maintaining records, and coordinating with other departments
- Work closely with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
- Support other administrative tasks as required
- Deliver excellent customer service to both internal staff and external vendors
- Maintain an organized and clean mailroom environment
- Utilize skills in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, Inkjet, Konica Minolta, Kronos Timekeeping System, Microsoft Access, About Time, Courier Services, Customer Service, Data Entry, and Deliveries.
- Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is required
- Familiarity with Inkjet operations is needed
- Experience with Konica Minolta systems is preferred
- Knowledge of Kronos Timekeeping System is beneficial
- Proficiency in Microsoft Access is required
- Experience with About Time software is a plus
- Ability to handle Courier Services efficiently
- Excellent Customer Service skills are essential
- Data Entry skills are a must
- Experience in handling Deliveries is preferred
