We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Manager of Applications Development in Rutland, Vermont. This role is pivotal in the healthcare industry, focusing on optimizing IT Applications, especially MedEnt EMR, and exploring the implementation of AI where possible.
Responsibilities:
Lead a team of Application Support Analysts to manage and optimize the use of all business, EHR, and related software products
Collaborate with leadership to implement and support technologies consistent with the strategic plan and practice transformation initiatives
Establish and foster productive relationships with representatives of vendor-supported applications
Ensure adherence to cybersecurity policies and procedures within the team
Evaluate application configuration change requests for impact to all operational and functional areas
Support Performance Improvement activities of the organization
Work with staff and leaders to resolve problems and issues and identify future initiatives
Support the planning and implementation of Application Support activities in support of the strategic plan
Continually evaluate and maintain new and existing policies and procedures to align with the overall organizational strategic plan
Ensure customer service is the focus of Application Support staff.
Requirements
A minimum of 7 years of experience in the field of Application Development.
Proven experience in managing teams for Application Development projects.
Proficiency in working with MEDENT software.
Extensive experience in dealing with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
In-depth knowledge of EHR SYSTEM.
Ability to lead and motivate a team towards achieving project goals.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field would be advantageous.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
