We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Manager of Quality Assurance in SHELTON, Connecticut. This pivotal role involves overseeing quality assurance processes and ensuring the adherence to ISO 9001 and other Quality Assurance Standards in a lab environment.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage two Quality Assurance Specialists to ensure effective quality controls.
Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001 standards.
Ensure the effective functioning of Quality Assurance operations within a lab/testing environment.
Manage and resolve any quality-related issues promptly and efficiently.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement in Quality Assurance practices within the team.
Monitor and maintain accurate records of all Quality Assurance activities.
Ensure compliance with all Quality Assurance Standards across all operations.
Conduct regular reviews and updates of Quality Assurance practices and procedures.
Facilitate training and development for team members on Quality Assurance protocols and standards.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure the uniform application of Quality Assurance Standards.
Requirements
Must hold a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Quality Assurance role
Demonstrated proficiency in ISO 9001 is mandatory
Extensive knowledge and application of Quality Assurance practices and principles is required
Familiarity with various Quality Assurance environments is essential
Must have a deep understanding of Quality Assurance standards and their implementation
Experience in managing and leading Quality Assurance teams is required
Experience working in a lab environment is a plus
