We are seeking a Manufacturing Drafter to join our client's team in a contract capacity. In this role, you will be integral to the production process, creating technical drawings, manufacturing schematics, and CAD models using Solidworks Software.Responsibilities:Create complete and detailed 2D and 3D CAD models and manufacturing schematics using SolidWorks Software, including measurements, specifications, and additional data provided by the engineering team.Combine initial drawings, calculations, and design ideas from engineers into complete and coherent initial design models for review and modification.Collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to comprehend project requirements, verify design details, and suggest modifications appropriately in line with company standards and best practices.Accurately annotate and verify all numerical designations and specifications in technical drawings.Engage actively with manufacturing personnel to create detailed layouts before production and assist in designing, creating, and testing the production mold.Support the engineering team by producing technical drawings and digital models in a timely manner, applying innovative methods to ensure all relevant design details are incorporated.Participate actively in the ongoing project to standardize and unify design document standards by attending meetings and preparing necessary presentation materials.
