The role involves handling healthcare billing processes, including the use of accounting software systems and EPIC Hospital Billing for billing and coding processes. This is a short-term contract to hire position.Responsibilities:• Utilize accounting software systems for efficient billing processes• Handle appeals and authorizations related to billing functions• Ensure accurate and efficient processing of healthcare billing, including maintaining patient records• Manage claims submissions for third-party payers, Medicaid, and Medicare• Use EPIC Hospital Billing for billing and coding processes• Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations and policies, including HIPAA• Handle sensitive patient information and billing data with utmost attention to detail• Communicate effectively with patients, insurance representatives, and healthcare providers when required• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide efficient administrative support to the billing functions
