Responsibilities • Oversee charge entry in GE Athena and ensure accurate and timely processing.• Perform detail-oriented coding for GI and cardiology, with a focus on procedure coding.• Review and maintain both detail-oriented and facility claims.• Handle radiology diagnostic coding as a part of the responsibilities.• Work towards the integration of GI and cardiology coding to drive both workflows.• Act as a data control specialist, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.• Potentially handle outpatient surgery coding, depending on the need.• Use Cerner Technologies for various tasks and procedures.• Conduct audits to ensure compliance and accuracy in all coding activities.
