We are looking for an experienced Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team in Seattle. This role involves supporting attorneys in litigation processes, including preparing legal documents, conducting research, and managing case files. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling medical records and be adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:• Conduct comprehensive legal research using tools such as Westlaw, as well as social media and other investigative platforms.• Coordinate with expert witnesses on matters such as retention, document review, and scheduling.• Analyze and organize medical and billing records to support case preparation.• Prepare detailed medical chronologies to assist in litigation.• Draft and respond to discovery requests, including interrogatories, production, and admission requests.• Handle the process of obtaining medical, employment, and insurance records, including drafting stipulations and subpoenas.• Redact sensitive information in compliance with court rules and confidentiality requirements.• Prepare pre-trial documents such as ER 904 Statements, Witness Lists, and Exhibit Lists.• Assist attorneys with trial preparation, court hearings, and pretrial litigation tasks in both state and federal courts.• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines are met effectively.Firm offers full benefits including 2 weeks PTO, Medical/Dental/Vision, 401K, remote work if candidates live in WA state, and exciting cases to work on!To submit your resume confidentially please send to Sam(dot)Sheehan(at)RobertHalf(dot)(com)
