We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a .NET Developer at our government office located in Coconut Creek, Florida, United States. As a .NET Developer, you will be engaged in the design, development, and maintenance of code. You will be expected to interact extensively with both internal and external users, and act as a liaison for them, ensuring any issues are appropriately prioritized and resolved in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain new and existing code for .NET web applications.
• Collaborate with users to understand and evaluate their requirements, and develop technical solutions accordingly.
• Monitor database performance, including stored procedures and execution time, and implement improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Provide support for various business applications, including ERP, EDMS, and web applications.
• Create detailed documentation of applications and business processes.
• Stay abreast of current technologies and technical developments.
• Act as a consultant and liaison for users, ensuring that problems are handled appropriately and timely.
• Provide feedback to IT managers as necessary.
• Administer and provide technical support for the City's internet and intranet sites.
• Perform other duties as assigned and/or required.

• Proven experience in Backend Development
• Proficiency in API Development
• Solid understanding and experience with ASP.NET
• Expertise in C# - Sharp programming language
• Extensive knowledge of .NET framework
• Familiarity with Visual Basic .NET (VB.NET)
• Strong skills in SQL programming
• Experience with Microsoft SQL
• Proficiency in utilizing ASP.NET MVC Framework
