We are seeking an experienced Network Administrator with 3 years of hands-on experience who will be responsible for maintaining, configuring, and optimizing the organization’s network infrastructure. This role requires a strong understanding of firewalls, Cisco products, and other networking technologies to ensure seamless connectivity, reliable performance, and secure operations across all systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), wireless networks, and virtual private networks (VPN).
- Configure and manage firewalls to safeguard the organization from cyber threats and unauthorized access.
- Administer and troubleshoot Cisco devices, including switches, routers, and wireless access points, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to deploy, test, and manage system upgrades and new technologies.
- Provide tier-2/3 support for network-related issues, ensuring timely resolution of incidents.
- Document network configurations, policies, and procedures; maintain comprehensive change logs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 3 years of experience in network administration or a related role.
- Proficiency with configuring and managing firewalls (e.g., Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, or similar).
- Knowledge of Cisco network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and wireless products.
- Strong understanding of network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, OSPF, BGP).
