Responsibilities:The Network/Systems Engineer will handle a variety of platforms and technologies, providing remote customer support as part of your daily tasks.Install, update, and troubleshoot software issues on both wired and wireless networking equipment.Manage small engagements and projects, both remotely and on-site for our clients.Organize and manage multiple priorities, adapting quickly to new technologies and changing business requirements.Maintain strong written and verbal communication skills, responding to emergency situations effectively while maintaining poise and focus.Perform server application installs for Level II and Level III, including server installs, updates, and migrations.The Network/Systems Engineer will provide on-site and remote support for clients, including installing wired and wireless networking equipment, setting up workstations, and software installation and updates.Work with a variety of clients, ranging from small to medium-sized businesses, including non-profits, wineries, law firms, and general contracting companies.The Network/Systems Engineer will prioritize more complex switching network issues, and perform a lot of shadow work.Utilize a range of skills, including Cisco Technologies, Cloud Technologies, DELL EMC Technologies, Dell Technologies, Active Directory, Backup Technologies, Vmware Infrastructure, Vmware Technologies, Microsoft Server OS, Microsoft Server.The Network/Systems Engineer will travel to client sites, primarily located in East Bay and Solano County, with occasional preplanned trips to San Jose.
