Robert Half's client in Northern NJ is looking for a Packaging Project Manager for a short, 3-5 week PROJECT. Must be able to work onsite 4-5 days/week in the Northern Bergen County area.
Packaging project management / production management experience is required
ESKO experience, or related PM software experience, is a HUGE PLUS
Packaging Project Manager/Production Manager
Responsibilities:
- Manage creative project and production requests, ensuring seamless processes and deliverables from kickoff to completion.
- Serve as the key liaison between creative teams, project management, and internal/external partners to oversee timelines, resources, and deliverables.
- Partner with creative directors and marketing teams to allocate resources needed for work streams and deliverables.
- Maintain project schedules, track progress, facilitate creative reviews, and ensure all deadlines are met.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to assess success, identify improvement areas, and apply best practices.
- Oversee vendor coding, invoicing for pre-production and creative development costs.
- Manage daily project activities, including client communications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, design, or related field.
- 5–10 years of project management experience, preferably in a CPG company or creative studio.
- Solid understanding of the creative production process for packaging, displays, and related materials.
- Proven ability to manage projects from concept to completion, meeting deadlines and budgets.
- Proficiency in project management tools like Esko and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience managing vendor proofing and communications for internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of package design and point-of-purchase (P.O.P.) production requirements.
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise effectively across teams and clients.
- Adaptability to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic with a client-focused mindset.
