Packaging Project Manager

***This position is a 3-5 week CONTRACT and is 4-5 days/week ONSITE in Northern Bergen County NJ***

Robert Half's client in Northern NJ is looking for a Packaging Project Manager for a short, 3-5 week PROJECT. Must be able to work onsite 4-5 days/week in the Northern Bergen County area.

Packaging project management / production management experience is required

ESKO experience, or related PM software experience, is a HUGE PLUS

Packaging Project Manager/Production Manager

Responsibilities:

• Manage creative project and production requests, ensuring seamless processes and deliverables from kickoff to completion.
• Serve as the key liaison between creative teams, project management, and internal/external partners to oversee timelines, resources, and deliverables.
• Partner with creative directors and marketing teams to allocate resources needed for work streams and deliverables.
• Maintain project schedules, track progress, facilitate creative reviews, and ensure all deadlines are met.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to assess success, identify improvement areas, and apply best practices.
• Oversee vendor coding, invoicing for pre-production and creative development costs.
• Manage daily project activities, including client communications.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, design, or related field.
• 5–10 years of project management experience, preferably in a CPG company or creative studio.
• Solid understanding of the creative production process for packaging, displays, and related materials.
• Proven ability to manage projects from concept to completion, meeting deadlines and budgets.
• Proficiency in project management tools like Esko and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience managing vendor proofing and communications for internal and external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of package design and point-of-purchase (P.O.P.) production requirements.
• Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise effectively across teams and clients.
• Adaptability to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic with a client-focused mindset.
