Robert Half has partnered with a growing family law and estate planning firm in DTC who is looking for a Paralegal with 3 years of experience in both family law and estate planning. This is a remote position that is subject to change to hybrid. Applicants must reside in the State of Colorado.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in family law/estate planning
- Knowledgeable in family law rules, regulations, and legal filing process
- Demonstrated attention to details
- Demonstrated ability to pay close attention to detail
- Exceptional organizational skills and proficiency in completing tasks quickly
- Possesses excellent communication, organizational, and people skills
- Meet deadlines and managing confidential information
- Highly organized and efficient work style
- Possesses strong communication, time management, and interpersonal skills
- Experienced in managing tight deadlines and handling sensitive information
- Proficient in using and navigating Microsoft Office, Adobe, and timekeeping software
- Bi-lingual Spanish/English is preferred but not required
Responsibilities:
- Review and draft legal documents relating to family law
- Collect and respond to discovery requests
- Serve subpoenas and other legal notices
- Establish effective communication with clients and relevant contacts
- Prepare for court hearings, trials, and alternative dispute resolution proceedings
- Ensure deadlines and calendar obligations are met
- Work in conjunction with family law and estate planning attorneys
