We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Paralegal to be a part of our team in Clark, New Jersey, United States. This role functions in the industry of commercial bankruptcy law and involves managing commercial collection files, drafting legal documents, e-filing in court systems, and interacting with clients.
Responsibilities
- Manage and organize commercial collection files
- Draft basic legal documents as required
- E-file documents in the New Jersey and New York court systems
- Communicate effectively with clients and handle their inquiries
- Utilize skills in Calendar Management to keep track of deadlines and appointments
- Ensure all customer records are maintained accurately
- Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary.
- Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a paralegal role.
- Proficient in calendar management, able to schedule and track appointments seamlessly.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated understanding of legal terminology and principles.
- Experience in conducting comprehensive legal research.
- Proficient in using legal databases and software.
- Ability to draft and review legal documents.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Bachelor's degree in Law or related field required.
- Paralegal certification is a plus.
- Proven experience in case management.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
- High level of confidentiality and discretion in handling legal documents and information.
