We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Paralegal. The Paralegal will be responsible for managing complex legal tasks and providing support to attorneys in the field of Estate Planning and Probate. Responsibilities • Conduct in-depth legal research on trust administration and probate issues, keeping up to date with changes in laws and regulations that may impact client cases.• Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical standards related to estate planning, trust administration, and probate practices.• Prepare and manage probate documents, including petitions, accountings, and court filings.• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing updates on case status, answering questions, and addressing concerns.• Analyze complex legal documents and financial information to identify potential issues and recommend solutions to attorneys.• Coordinate with attorneys to develop case strategies and assist in the preparation for client meetings, court appearances, and hearings.• Manage a high volume of probate and trust administration cases, tracking deadlines, court dates, and required actions to ensure timely completion.• Oversee the preparation and execution of client documents, coordinating signing appointments and ensuring all documents are properly witnessed and notarized.• Assist clients in navigating the probate and trust administration process, explaining legal procedures, and guiding them through the required steps.• Provide guidance and mentorship to entry level paralegals and administrative staff, overseeing their work and ensuring high standards of accuracy and efficiency.
