We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Part Time Bookkeeper in Freeport, Maine. The selected individual will be a critical part of our team, handling key financial aspects of our operations within the industry.
Responsibilities
- Conduct account reconciliation to ensure accurate financial records
- Oversee accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) to manage the inflow and outflow of financial resources
- Perform regular bank reconciliations to verify the company's cash position
- Maintain and update bookkeeping records for precise financial tracking
- Carry out data entry tasks as required for efficient financial management
- Use Microsoft Excel to organize and analyze financial data
- Assist with month-end close procedures to finalize financial activities for the period
- Monitor and manage daily postings in financial records.
- Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is a must
- Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Familiarity with Bank Reconciliations
- Prior experience in Bookkeeping is essential
- Ability to perform accurate Data Entry tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required
- Experience in Month End Close operations is necessary
