Responsibilities:
• Accurately and efficiently process patient credit applications.
• Maintain precise records of patient credit information.
• Respond to and resolve patient inquiries in a timely manner.
• Monitor patient accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.
• Ensure the availability of essential clinical information for each patient visit.
• Coordinate and maintain the Nurse Practitioner's schedule.
• Manage the submission and tracking of Release of Information forms generated at checkout.
• Assist in checking in patients as a backup.
• Handle incoming phone calls and inquiries as a backup.
• Utilize CRM and Allscripts software for patient charting, scheduling, and other administrative tasks.• Minimum of 2 years experience in a Patient Service Representative role or similar position within the healthcare industry.
• Proficiency in using Allscripts software for healthcare management.
• Demonstrated experience with CRM systems, preferably within a healthcare setting.
• Ability to effectively manage and respond to inbound calls.
• Experience in obtaining authorizations from insurance companies and other parties.
• Skills in creating and interpreting charts and graphs for patient data.
• Experience in managing patient check-in processes.
• Ability to handle and manage medical charts and patient records efficiently.
• Proven experience in coordinating schedules for patients, healthcare providers, and facility utilization.
