Responsibilities:
• Managing and processing customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency
• Maintaining and updating customer credit records regularly
• Resolving customer inquiries related to payroll and accounting
• Monitoring customer accounts and initiating appropriate action when necessary
• Handling the processing and reconciliation of biweekly payroll for 101-500 employees
• Proficiently using Microsoft Excel for various accounting functions
• Managing and adjusting journal entries as part of general ledger maintenance
• Executing month-end journal entries and recalculations
• Ensuring all accounting functions and payroll processes adhere to industry standards and company policies.
• Utilizing state payroll software for efficient workflow management.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing payroll operations, preferably within the education sector.• Proficient in accounting functions and general ledger management.
• Experience in managing a payroll size of 101 to 500 employees.
• Ability to process biweekly payroll efficiently and accurately.
• Skills in reconciling payroll to ensure all discrepancies are resolved.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, report generation, and payroll calculations.
• Experience in creating ledger journal entries, month-end journal entries, and adjusting journal entries.
• A solid understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
