Robert Half is working with a respected construction organization looking for a Payroll Auditor to join its team. This is a permanent role reporting into the Auditing Director, with lots of growth opportunity.
My client is looking for candidates with at least "some" experience reconciling or auditing payroll. Above average Excel skills are needed. If a candidate has experience in the construction industry, that would be a plus, but is not required.
The role is a Hybrid schedule and requires some minimal local travel.
For the right candidate our client is looking to offer the Payroll Auditor a starting salary "around" $70,000 bonus. The benefits are the best on the market too!

Requirements
- Proficiency in Payroll systems and management
- Experience in auditing, with a focus on audit reports
- Ability to conduct detailed reconciliations
- Expertise in statement reconciliations
- Strong knowledge of payroll tax laws and regulations
- Familiarity with payroll software and systems
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively
- High level of confidentiality and discretion
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field is preferred
- Prior experience in a payroll administration role is advantageous
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
