Payroll Manager

Salary: $45.00 to $55.00 hourly

Description

Robert Half Management Resources is currently looking for a Payroll resource with expertise in Prevailing Wage to assist a client with a year-long project. This role will be support the correction of employee wages, conducting detailed backtracking for each employee to align with the correct prevailing wage, and managing the complexities of biweekly payroll for a construction project. Strong knowledge of Prevailing Wage and experience with ADP is required. Prior experience working with Federal Contracts is a plus. The client is located in Springfield, OH, but remote resources that meet all the qualifications will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Correcting the payment for approximately 25 employees who have been underpaid for the past year
• Running models to backtrack each employee's wage to the correct prevailing wage
• Managing the complexities of biweekly payroll processes
• Utilizing ADP Payroll to streamline payroll processes
• Ensuring meticulous attention to detail in all tasks
• Handling monotonous work with dedication and precision
• Gaining approval from upper management for necessary changes and adjustments
• Utilizing experience with Federal contracts to navigate wage correction and backtracking processes
  
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with Prevailing Wage
• Proficient in ADP - Payroll software
• Comprehensive understanding and experience with Federal Contracts
• Familiarity with Prevailing Wage practices
• Excellent management and leadership skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
