Seeking 2 Payroll Analyst to support our client in Contra Costa County. The role primarily involves handling payroll-related tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities :
- Efficiently answer payroll and timekeeping queries, conducting necessary research and providing timely responses.
- Take responsibility for employee updates relating to payroll changes.
- Accurately process on-demand payroll checks and timekeeping adjustments.
- Handle wage and employment verification forms for various agencies.
- Conduct audits on payroll and timekeeping data, ensuring adherence to policies, practices, and applicable laws.
- Review timekeeping data for compliance with policies, union contracts, and relevant state and federal laws.
- Utilize timekeeping software such as Kronos and UKG.
- Perform reconciliations and account analysis as needed.
- Use software such as ADP Workforce Now, Workday, and Microsoft Excel to manage payroll functions and generate ad hoc reports.
- Proficiency in Full Cycle Payroll operations is essential
- Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now is required
- Ability to conduct Account Analysis accurately
- Experience with Kronos and Kronos Timekeeping System is needed
- Knowledge of Workday software is beneficial
- Capable of executing Reconciliations accurately
- Experience in managing Payroll for over 500 Employees is essential
- Understanding of comprehensive Payroll Functions is required
- Ability to Process Biweekly Payroll efficiently
- Skill in creating and managing Ad Hoc Reporting is necessary
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required
