Robert Half is seeking a Payroll Specialist for our client in New Orleans, Louisiana. This role will require you to assist the payroll department through various clerical tasks, including data entry, reconciliation of timecards, paycheck distribution, and providing statements to various departments. You will also need to communicate effectively with both the internal team and the customers. This is a short-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities:• Interact with employees through email and phone to secure timesheet approvals• Deliver training to employees on the use of payroll-related systems, including timesheet entry and online access to pay statements• Execute clerical tasks such as photocopying, scanning, faxing, and filing• Input data into Excel and the ADP payroll system• Audit and enter union calculations via Excel• Save, download, and distribute reports as needed• Construct and run custom reports from ADP• Carry out additional duties as required
