We are seeking a motivated and experienced Payroll Supervisor/Manager/Director to join our team in YORK, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will be tasked with managing all aspects of payroll operations, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, and supervising payroll personnel.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the execution of weekly payroll operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain and manage accurate payroll records, generating necessary reports.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal payroll regulations, as well as industry-specific rules.
- Supervise multi-state payroll processing and ensure tax compliance.
- Leverage advanced Excel skills and payroll software to optimize payroll functions.
- Coordinate with the HR and accounting departments for seamless payroll integration.
- Address payroll discrepancies and provide timely resolutions.
- Manage and supervise payroll personnel, ensuring productivity and accuracy.
- Keep abreast with federal, state, and local payroll regulations specific to the industry.
- Implement process improvements by analyzing payroll systems and workflows.
- Conduct training for payroll personnel and employees using remote-time entry systems.
- Answer and assist employees with payroll-related queries.
- Proven experience as a Payroll Supervisor, Manager, or Director
- Comprehensive knowledge of payroll administration, including state and federal regulations
- Proficiency in in-house payroll systems
- Familiarity with Prevailing Wage regulations and practices
- Excellent leadership and decision-making abilities
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion
- Excellent problem-solving/judgement skills, and high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Human Resources or relevant field.
