We are in the search for a Planning and Innovation Project Manager to join our team in the Food & Food Processing industry in Fullerton, California. This role involves managing a variety of R& D and innovation projects, aligning them with our business objectives, and working closely with both local and international R& D leaders and marketing professionals.
Responsibilities:
Oversee R& D project management, ensuring alignment with the business objectives and process of product development.
Spearhead the stage gate process of innovation and renovation, managing from ideation through to commercialization.
Maintain and update R& D project plans, proactively monitor and control project work, and communicate regularly with all stakeholders.
Cultivate relationships with external innovation project partners, such as co-packers and co-managers.
Facilitate collaboration projects by assisting with communication between local and international stakeholders and vendors.
Support special R& D project assignments as required.
Manage the R& D center budget and control monthly expenses.
Provide regular reports on R& D performance and monitor industry trends, competitors, and consumer preferences.
Keep headquarters updated on the status of innovation projects.
Requirements
Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the Food & Food Processing industry.
Proficiency in communication is crucial for effective interaction with team members, stakeholders, and customers.
Strong project management skills are required to oversee and execute project plans effectively.
