About the Company - Our manufacturing client in Holly Michigan is looking to hire a plant controller/finance manager for their plant which is part of their North American Headquarters.
About the Role - This is an on site role and will include plant manufacturing accounting work including job cost accounting and supervision of staff.
Responsibilities -
- Manage business controller accounting functions including job cost accounting, month end close and financials.
- Manage Accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Provide Income statements, Balance sheets, and cash flow statements to close the books monthly and annually.
- Perform cash management in coordination with our corporate financial leadership. Banking decisions will be made at the corporate level.
- Provide financial review, and advice to top management on financial and strategic business decisions.
- Actively participate in business decision making as a senior management team member.
- Produce an annual business plan through a bottom-up process involving all facets of the business through leadership and teamwork.
- Provide financial reporting local and corporate management as required.
- Ensure all financial policies, procedures, and activity are legal and ethical. Inform management of any discrepancies immediately.
- Other duties as required by management.
Qualifications -
- Bachelors degree in accounting of finance
- 5 years experience in a similar role
- Plant manufacturing experience including job costing and supervision of staff
- Working with various ERP financial systems
