Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Product Initiatives: Manage end-to-end product development, leading projects independently from ideation through delivery. Take ownership of product roadmaps and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product success.
- Stakeholder Communication: Tailor communication strategies based on the audience, ensuring technical and non-technical stakeholders are aligned and informed throughout the product development cycle.
- Community & Platform Management: Oversee product integration with community platforms, such as Discourse, to build and manage online forums and discussions that enhance customer engagement and user feedback.
- Customer-Focused Product Development: Conduct research and gather feedback through community engagement to drive product decisions that directly address user needs and improve user experiences.
- Prioritize & Optimize Features: Prioritize product features and enhancements, focusing on community-driven insights and business goals to create value for users and the organization.
- Agile Development Management: Use agile methodologies to guide product iterations, track milestones, and ensure timely product delivery.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Practical Experience: 2 years of hands-on experience leading product projects, with a proven track record of successfully managing and launching products.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt messaging for various audiences, whether it be technical teams, stakeholders, or customers.
- Hard Skills: Experience with community platforms like Discourse for managing discussions, forums, and user feedback. Familiarity with other technologies and tools in product management and development (Jira, Asana, etc.).
- Collaboration and Leadership: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, and customer support to ensure product success.
