Programmer Analyst

Description

We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Programmer Analyst in the Healthcare/NHS industry, located in Morrisville, Vermont, United States. This role serves as a pivotal contact point, expert, and coordinator for clinical and operational interfaces within our hospital. You will collaborate with internal clients and vendors, handle complex data migration, and troubleshoot workflows and processes across departments.

Responsibilities

• Take on the role of the primary point of contact for all hospital clinical and operational interfaces
• Coordinate with internal clients and vendors to install our interface engine, build interfaces and workflows
• Troubleshoot complex system issues and investigate workflows and processes across various departments
• Handle complex data migration and conversion projects, including scripting automated reports and processes
• Provide support for electronic medical record system interfaces including configuration and troubleshooting
• Educate staff members about process changes and workflow modifications related to interface installations and upgrades
• Communicate changes or new initiatives and key issues to supervisors, physicians and staff
• Assume special projects as directed and document them
• Provide after hours on-call and help desk coverage in accordance with department rotation
• Provide support for all clinical and business applications as well as network, server and user hardware.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Programmer Analyst in the healthcare industry.
• Proficiency in HL7 (Health Level 7) is compulsory.
• Familiarity with Health Level Seven (HL7) protocols is required.
• Candidates should have a good understanding and working knowledge of Interfaces.
• Experience with Corepoint Software is a prerequisite for this role.
