We are seeking a Project Accountant to join our team in the Architecture industry, based in Morristown, New Jersey. The role involves processing and maintaining customer applications, records, and inquiries, as well as monitoring customer accounts and implementing necessary actions.Responsibilities:• Handle customer credit applications accurately and efficiently• Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer credit records• Address customer inquiries in a timely and detail-oriented manner• Monitor customer accounts and implement necessary actions as needed• Facilitate smooth communication with Project Managers regarding progress billing• Establish contract billing systems and ensure correct project expense recognition• Work with consultants to ensure correct project expense recognition• Monitor receivables and notify Project Managers to ensure prompt payments• Compile periodic project financials to track profitability and progress• Apply skills in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Month End Close, NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP.
