Project Manager/Sr. Consultant

Robert Half is seeking a Project Manager to assist with a AWS Cloud migration.The Project Manager will be responsible for providing Project management support and leadership of this Cloud migration project. Will work closely and collaborate with multiple vendors and key stakeholders.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:• Project management support to lead the migration of older data out of the current data center to the new location ( AWS, Onsite, other, etc.):o Determining the appropriate application decommissioning strategy and archiving solution, guided by compliance and security requirements.  Activities include but not limited to:  •Inventorying the archive data  •Work with the SMEs and vendors to Document the options including   associated costs, timeline, pros and cons of each option into a decision   document(s) for Steering committee o Knowledge and confidence to ask questions the right questions, talk to and about tape archives, their lifecycle, and other types of media backups that will need to be migrated/dispositionedo Continuing to discuss tape archiving, with ongoing tracking and a plan for monitoring and developing solutions.o Ensuring the appropriate certificate of destruction (SW, HW, etc.) are acquired and storeo This includes an archive and decommission plan for applications that will be retired.o This will involve working with IT GRC team, risk, compliance, legal and multiple application teamsOther duties as needed
