The Proofreader will work closely with the Creative and Client Service Teams, and will play a vital role in maintaining the editorial and promotional consistency across various communication channels.
Responsibilities
- Accurately proofread pharmaceutical and medical promotional materials.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards in all promotional materials.
- Compare documents to source material to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Identify and correct mistakes in spelling, grammar, punctuation and layout.
- Maintain the editorial and promotional consistency across a range of communications.
- Support the work of the Creative and Client Service Teams.
- Handle proofreading tasks for electronic media, presentations, brochures, social media, package inserts, instructions for use booklets, and packaging.
- Utilize Adobe Acrobat and other tools for proofreading tasks.
- Ensure all communications and promotional materials adhere to AMA style guidelines.
- Act as a subject matter expert and guardian of the brand.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat is required for reviewing and editing documents.
- Experience with Banner Ads is necessary as this role involves working closely with advertising content.
- Familiarity with Blue Book is essential for maintaining consistency and accuracy in our content.
- Knowledge of Capital IQ is beneficial for understanding market trends and making informed decisions.
- Understanding of CCH Sales Tax is crucial for ensuring our advertising content complies with tax regulations.
- Proficiency in About Time software is required for effective time management and project tracking.
- Excellent communication skills are a must for interacting with various teams and clients.
- Compliance understanding is necessary to ensure all advertising content meets industry and legal standards.
- Experience in Consumer Electronics is beneficial for creating relatable and engaging content.
- Exceptional customer service skills are required as this role involves addressing queries and concerns from clients.
