Robert Half is actively seeking an experienced Accountant with a strong background in commercial property management for immediate full-time hire. The ideal candidate will be detail-orientated, possess excellent knowledge about General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and have prior experience in financial analysis.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Handle all aspects of accounting related to commercial properties
- Provide comprehensive financial updates to senior management by evaluating, analyzing, and reporting appropriate data points
- Guide management’s decision-making by applying financial analysis insights
- Analyzing current and past financial data and performance
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and other relevant regulations and standards
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Work closely with the audit team to conduct periodic audits
- Prepare tax returns and corporate reporting requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in commercial property sector
- Thorough knowledge of GAAP and financial analysis
- Strong analytical, numerical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and accounting software
