Responsibilities
- Employ ERP Solutions and Accounting Software Systems like Epicor and Great Plains (GPAC) to streamline buying processes.
- Execute accounting functions, with a particular focus on managing Accounts Payable (AP).
- Participate in the development and implementation of budget processes.
- Coordinate with different departments to ensure timely and efficient purchasing activities.
- Utilize 'About Time' software to ensure timely completion of purchasing tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of all purchases and vendor interactions.
- Proactively resolve any purchasing related issues or discrepancies.
- Stay updated with the latest ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning trends and best practices.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve overall organizational goals.
- Continually evaluate vendor performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and to determine need for changes.
- Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required.
- Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is essential.
- Ability to use About Time is needed.
- Must be skilled in performing Accounting Functions.
- Must have experience with Accounts Payable (AP).
