We are seeking experienced Purchasing Manager working in our Walpole, NH business office. In this role the Purchasing Manager is responsible for all purchasing and procurement activity.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for material planning and procurement
- Responsible for all purchasing activities and supplier management
- Tracks inventory and restocks as needed, to ensure production schedules are met
- Co-leader in semi-annual inventory counts
- Able to forecast and keep up with demand
- Work directly with management to optimize direct and indirect spend
- Negotiating a fair and practical price for material
- Manage, develop, and cultivate vendor relationships
- Ensure all purchases are consistent with company policy
- Look for opportunities for cost reductions
- Publish monthly KPI’s focusing on vendor performance
- Develop and manage strategic planning for purchasing
- Strong negotiating skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently
- Able to work with ever changing priorities and time constraints
- Strong business acumen, and work ethic
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Proficient computer skills
- Knowledge of working with ERP systems
- Working in a manufacturing environment
