We are seeking a skilled and proactive Reliability Engineer to develop and implement strategic asset reliability and maintenance programs at our manufacturing plant. This position will serve as a subject matter expert (SME), ensuring the standardization and sustainability of best practices, policies, and procedures aimed at enhancing reliability and maintenance performance across the site. As a cross-functional team collaborator, the Reliability Engineer will work closely with plant engineering, operations, continuous improvement, and facilities maintenance teams to achieve the organization's operational excellence goals.
Key Responsibilities :
Asset Performance Improvement :
Establish and implement strategic plans to improve the performance of physical assets.
Develop and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), dashboards, and reporting systems to track and enhance maintenance and reliability performance.
Collaborate with plant leadership, engineering, and corporate teams to achieve asset reliability goals.
Reliability Strategy Development :
Conduct and implement Asset Criticality Assessments, Failure Modes and Effects Analyses (FMEAs), and Spare Parts Optimization studies.
Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance (PM) strategies tailored to asset criticality.
Facilitate and lead Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) for significant or recurring failures, implementing preventative measures to address root causes.
CMMS Utilization and Process Optimization :
Ensure best practices in the use of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), including accuracy of asset master data, hierarchies, and preventive maintenance schedules.
Analyze CMMS data to identify opportunities to improve reliability while reducing maintenance costs.
Drive the development and sustainability of robust workflow processes for work order management, including request submission, authorization, planning, kitting, scheduling, execution, and documentation.
Continuous Improvement Initiatives :
Participate in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) events to evaluate and enhance equipment performance.
Identify opportunities to improve autonomous maintenance activities in collaboration with operations and maintenance teams.
Support proactive maintenance programs and lead efforts to institutionalize best practices for long-term reliability.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, reliability, or a related field is preferred.
3–5 years of experience in reliability engineering, maintenance, or a related discipline in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Strong knowledge of maintenance reliability principles, including FMEA, CMMS, RCFA, and TPM practices.
Proficiency in data analysis and KPI development to monitor and enhance asset performance.
Experience with implementing preventive / predictive maintenance strategies and workflow optimization.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams and functions.
Preferred Qualifications :
Certifications such as Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) or similar are a plus.
Experience working in a continuous improvement or lean manufacturing environment.
