We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Reprographics Associate (Copy Operator) in New York, New York. The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic team, working in a large corporate environment. The role entails handling reprographics requests, operating production printers, copiers, and other equipment, as well as ensuring the quality of documents.Must be willing to work flexible hours Sunday-Thursday.Responsibilities:• Accurately process reprographics requests for both black/white and color photocopies• Operate and manage job queues on production printers and copiers, adjusting settings as needed• Handle finishing equipment such as 3-hole drills, bindery, laminating folder, cutter, and more, in accordance with job ticket instructions• Ensure the quality of documents at all stages of production, performing checks before, during, and after each job• Keep copiers well-stocked with paper and toner as required• Troubleshoot basic equipment problems and place service calls when necessary• Maintain open lines of communication with the manager and client regarding job or deadline issues• Demonstrate an attention to detail, prioritizing accuracy and quality in all tasks• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis• Comfortable with standing for most of the work duration.
