Requisitioner Specialist

Salary: $29.00 to $32.00 hourly

Description

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a meticulous and organized Requisitioner Specialist in Andover, Massachusetts. As a Requisitioner Specialist, you will be primarily focused on interacting with vendors for acquiring quotations for new purchases or calibrations on test equipment. This role is based on-site.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with vendors to obtain quotes for new purchases and equipment calibrations
• Convert vendor quotes into purchase requisitions efficiently
• Generate shipping documents as required
• Manage and transport test equipment safely and effectively
• Utilize computer skills to maintain accurate records and perform tasks, experience with SAP would be advantageous but not essential
• Apply logistics skills to streamline processes and ensure smooth operations
• Maintain adherence to regulations and financial notes during requisitioning and shipping processes
• Use equipment calibration knowledge to evaluate vendor quotes and requisitions
• Employ your skills in 'About Time', 'Shipping Functions', 'Regulation', 'Financial Notes', 'Authorizations', 'R Code', 'Contacting', 'Maps API', 'Overtime', 'ST Microcontoller', 'International Travel', 'Federal Government', 'Security Clearance', 'Competitive Bid', 'Letterhead', 'NIS', 'Metrology', 'SAP S/4HANA'
• Effectively manage vendor relationships and ensure competitive bidding.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Proficiency in 'About Time' software
• Demonstrated experience in Logistics and Shipping Functions
• Ability to effectively communicate and negotiate with Vendors
• Understanding of Regulation and Financial Notes
• Experience in obtaining Authorizations
• Strong Computer Skills, including familiarity with R Code
• Proven track record in Contacting and effective communication
• Knowledge of Maps API
• Experience with A Plus software is beneficial
• Willingness to work Overtime as required
• Proficiency in ST Microcontroller
• Openness to International Travel if necessary
• Previous work with Federal Government is a plus
• Possession of Security Clearance or ability to obtain one
• Experience in Equipment Calibration
• Understanding of FLSA regulations
• Familiarity with Test Equipment
• Ability to conduct Competitive Bid processes
• Skills in creating detail oriented documents on Letterhead
• Knowledge of NIS is preferred
• Experience in Metrology
