Robert Half is recruiting for a strong Revenue Cycle Manager/ Consultant for our large Healthcare client (Payer). The consultant will manage the revenue cycle processes, ensuring timely and accurate billing, navigating complex healthcare regulations, streamlining processes to boost efficiency and minimize unnecessary costs, and proactively identifying opportunities for improvement while mitigating financial risks. This role will be located hybrid schedule in Long Beach, .
Skills
1. Compliance and Accuracy: Ensuring that billing practices comply with healthcare regulations and standards. This includes monitoring coding, documentation, and charge capture accuracy.
2. Fee Schedule Maintenance: Collaborating with FP& A, Corporate Revenue Cycle Integrity and other relevant departments to develop and update fee schedules that reflect the organization’s pricing strategy and compliance with regulations, including changes in CPT/HCPCS.
3. Data Analysis: Maintaining data integrity with FP& A and Corporate Revenue Cycle Integrity in revenue cycle reporting and the analysis of financial data to identify discrepancies, trends, and areas for improvement within the revenue cycle (e.g., physician productivity and volumes).
4. Process Improvement: Implementing best practices and process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, thereby reducing denials, reducing redundancies and costs, and speeding up cash flow. This includes leading regular meetings with FP& A, Corporate Revenue Cycle Integrity, Clinical Operations, and third-party business partners to track progress towards performance opportunities identified and provide executive level progress/status reports to the Chief Operating Officer and other executive leadership.
5. Collaboration: Working closely with various stakeholders such as third-party billing business partners, Clinical Documentation Improvement, Compliance, Clinical Operations and FP& A to ensure a seamless revenue cycle process. This includes understanding of clinical, financial and revenue cycle resources, processes and various technology tools and solutions.
6. Provider Onboarding: Assisting Clinical Operations in onboarding newly acquired provider groups to our outsourced revenue cycle vendor and proactively analyzing individual providers to identify areas of improvement.
7. Training and Education: Coordinating on-going training efforts for providers and staff on revenue integrity topics, including coding, documentation, and charge capture integrity.
8. Monitoring KPIs: Tracking key performance indicators related to the performance of the revenue cycle to ensure targets are met and identifying areas needing attention (e.g., lag days, denials, cost to collect).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as Revenue Cycle Manager
• Proficient in Billing Functions
