We are offering a contract for a permanent position as an Instructional Designer. In this role, you will be working closely with subject matter experts to develop engaging and effective instructional content for web-based and virtual delivery modes. You will also be tasked with mentoring other instructional designers and providing strategic advice to leadership.
Job Summary :
- The Sr. Instructional Designer is responsible for partnering with subject matter experts to design dynamic and compelling instruction for delivery via web-based media live and virtual instruction. This person is also responsible for mentoring and reviewing the work of instructional designers and for advising TDM leadership of strategies for helping SME course developers develop more effective instruction.
- Engage with the learning team and with subject-matter experts to identify performance goals. Use existing content or conduct needs assessments and audience analysis to identify learning goals appropriate instructional strategies and determine delivery methods.
- Apply solid instructional design skills to a variety of learning projects. Projects may be large or complex in scope. Design and develop classroom online or virtual instruction based on content and input from subject-matter experts. Ensure learning meets business and learner needs. Develop learning assessments and / or tools to measure learning effectiveness.
- Create project plans for design amp development of learning solution. Document and communicate design decisions amp strategies e.g. design documents training approach to key partners within learning department or business
