A great Robert Half client is seeking an experienced SEC and Technical Accounting Manager to play a critical role in driving their financial reporting and compliance initiatives. Reporting directly to the Director of Financial Reporting, this position will oversee a team of two and contribute to key business activities, including SEC reporting, M&A support, audit management, and technical accounting. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the preparation and filing of all SEC reports, including 10-Qs, 10-Ks, and other regulatory filings, ensuring compliance with SEC regulations and U.S. GAAP.
- Support M&A activities by providing due diligence and technical accounting expertise.
- Administer and manage the company’s long-term incentive plan, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance.
- Oversee the full audit process, including disclosure reporting, and collaborate with external auditors to ensure timely and accurate results.
- Provide guidance on technical accounting issues, including new accounting standards, and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support process improvements, financial analysis, and other strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- CPA designation is preferred but not required.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in accounting, with a preference for candidates with a mix of public accounting and industry experience.
- Strong experience with SEC reporting and technical accounting, including M&A and audit support.
- Proficiency in SAP and Hyperion is highly preferred.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with prior experience managing or mentoring staff.
Salary : $130,000 - $150,000
