We have partnered with a client in the manufacturing industry, located on the east side of Spartanburg, South Carolina, offering an exciting opportunity as a Sr. Accountant. This is a direct hire opportunity - all inquiries remain confidential!
In this role, you will be focused on performing a variety of accounting tasks, including inventory reconciliation, cost accounting, and month-end close activities. This position is on-site and offers growth opportunities.
Responsibilities:
• Conducting cost accounting activities for manufacturing processes
• Ensuring accurate inventory reconciliation
• Preparing and processing journal entries in the general ledger
• Carrying out month-end close procedures efficiently
• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for various accounting tasks
• Performing account and balance sheet reconciliations
• Utilizing SAP or other ERP systems for accounting tasks
• Monitoring and maintaining accurate customer credit records
• Processing customer credit applications with precision
• Taking appropriate action to monitor customer accounts
Qualifications
- 3 years' of professional accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience
- SAP Experience highly preferred but not required.
Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
