Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
- Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and resolving any discrepancies.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to support management decision-making.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
- Prepare and file tax returns, including sales tax, payroll tax, and business taxes.
- Support the preparation for external audits, collaborating with auditors to provide necessary documentation.
- Maintain accounting systems and software, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Provide financial analysis and reporting to senior management on a regular basis.
- Assist with ad-hoc projects as required, ensuring financial compliance and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent certification a plus).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Salary : $70,000 - $85,000
