Tommy Zapp with Robert Half is partnering with a growing pharmaceutical company based out of N. Scottsdale for a Sr. Accountant position. This role will report to the controller and be heavily involved in the day to day and month end close process.Responsibilities:Prepare financial statements, business activity reports, and forecasts.Monitor financial details to ascertain compliance with law and standards.Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual.Make estimates of new and proposed product costs.Maintain and review the general ledger and reconcile balance sheets.Analyze financial performance and forecast longer term horizons.Recommend methods and strategies for cutting cost.Maintaining documentation for accounts payable, purchasing, and treasury and conducting internal audits.Perform month-end and year-end close processes.Ensuring all accounting processes align with GAAP and current federal regulations.
