Responsibilities
- Apply knowledge of US GAAP and SOX - Sarbanes-Oxley in accounting processes
- Conduct audits as required and ensure compliance with relevant standards
- Manage month-end activities, ensuring all financial reporting is completed on time
- Analyze financial variances, identifying key trends and financial status
- Use SAP for various accounting tasks, ensuring optimal utilization of this ERP system
- Maintain accurate records and perform reconciliations as part of regular duties
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- MBA, CPA or CMA highly preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting or financial reporting role within Big Four Public Accounting or Large Regional Public Accounting Firm
- Proficient experience with US GAAP is required
- Knowledge and understanding of SOX - Sarbanes-Oxley regulations
- Proven experience in conducting audits
- Proficiency in SAP software is required
- Demonstrated ability in variance analysis
- Experience in managing month-end close processes
- Previous experience in a manufacturing setting is desirable
