We are looking for a Sr. HR Manager for a long-term contract with one of our great Non-Profit Clients in the Greater San Jose area. Job Function Details: • Monitor legal updates and adapt HR policies to remain compliant with changing laws and best practices.• Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and handbooks.• Lead performance management initiatives focused on feedback, goal setting, and employee recognition.• Build strong cross-functional relationships with leadership to support organizational change, growth, and cultural transitions.• Develop and implement strategies to promote resilience, innovation, and continuous improvement across the workforce.• Advise on employee relations and ensure fair, consistent application of HR policies and compliance with employment laws.• Coach leaders on performance management, disciplinary actions, legal compliance, and termination procedures.• Monitor legal updates and adapt HR policies to remain compliant with changing laws and best practices.• Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and handbooks; train staff on adherence.• Lead performance management initiatives focused on feedback, goal setting, and employee recognition.• Analyze HR metrics related to engagement, turnover, and compensation to guide strategic decisions.• Oversee workplace investigations and ensure fair, consistent handling of employee concerns and policy violations.• Manage benefits programs and HR systems.• Drive HR operational improvements using data-driven insights for informed decision-making.Requirements: • Experience working in a non-profit and a rapid growth environment• Strong with HR Compliance and CA Labor Laws • 10 years of human resources operations experience • Bachelors Degree, ideally Master's degree • HR Certification - Preferred Systems:• Paycom
