What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior IP Paralegal position at Robert Half?
Robert Half Legal is partnering with an international medical device company to find an IP paralegal to join their team. This is a contract-to-hire role.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive patent and trademark legal research under the guidance of a Patent Attorney or Patent Agent and a Trademark Attorney.
• Draft and file a variety of legal documents with the USPTO.
• Docket IP portfolio due dates and handle associated tasks.
• Conduct trademark availability searches.
• Lead improvement projects aimed at enhancing the Global IP Team.
• Map the global patent and trademark portfolios to develop an actionable IP strategy.
• Help develop trademark and copyright training curriculum for the marketing and commercial teams.
• Support IP related litigations oppositions.
• Support docketing prosecution enforcement and maintenance of global patent portfolios managed from the U.S.
• Manage and drive IP or general legal projects
