Description
We are offering a contract-to-hire Senior Oracle Database Administrator opportunity for a client of ours in Broward County. The successful candidate will work on-site, playing a pivotal role in administering thier Oracle Exadata systems, managing Oracle RAC environments, and implementing data security measures.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the administration and maintenance of Oracle Exadata systems to guarantee high availability, performance, and scalability.
Optimize Oracle RAC environments to facilitate seamless failover, load balancing, and fault tolerance.
Employ Data Masking and Redaction techniques to boost data security and compliance.
Ensure the peak performance of Oracle Database environments (10g, 19c) through continuous support and maintenance.
Conduct regular database tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization to address performance bottlenecks.
Formulate and implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
Supervise database patching, upgrades, and migrations, including version upgrades.
Develop, monitor, and enforce database security policies.
Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders in the design and deployment of database solutions.
Manage the implementation and maintenance of APEX and ORDS.
Requirements
Must possess extensive knowledge and experience in Oracle 10g.
Proficiency in Oracle Database 19c is required.
Applicants should demonstrate a strong understanding of Oracle DBA.
Familiarity with Oracle DB is a necessity.
Experience with Oracle Data Guard is highly desirable.
Candidates should be adept in Oracle SQL.
Proficiency in Oracle SQL Developer is a requirement.
Experience in Oracle Real Application Cluster is essential.
Knowledge of Real Application Clusters (RAC) is a must.
Must have experience with Oracle Exadata.
Proficiency in Oracle Enterprise Manager is desired.
AWR skills are highly beneficial.
Experience with Oracle GoldenGate is a significant plus.
