You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of our database systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and maintain database systems for applications and business needs.
- Optimize database performance by managing queries, indexes, and configurations.
- Ensure data integrity with backup and recovery plans.
- Resolve database issues to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate on database design and integration.
- Enforce database security, complying with standards and regulations.
- Stay updated on database technologies and recommend upgrades.
- Mentor junior DBAs and share best practices.
Skills:
- Proficient in SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL, or similar languages.
- Experienced with database monitoring tools (e.g., New Relic, SolarWinds).
- Knowledgeable in replication and clustering technologies.
- Familiar with data modeling and ETL processes.

- Understanding of database security best practices and compliance standards, including GDPR and FedRAMP, and PCI.
