We are offering a contract for a Shipping Clerk role in Butler, Indiana, United States. As a Shipping Clerk, you will be expected to manage outgoing shipments efficiently and in a timely manner, coordinate with different departments for accurate order fulfillment, and oversee inventory management. This role also involves assisting on the production floor when required.
Responsibilities :
- Interface with truck drivers during check-in and check-out procedures
- Organize and prepare pack lists for the following day's shipments
- Generate and manage Bills of Lading
- Load trucks and stage or prepare loads for the next day, using a forklift when necessary
- Arrange and organize finished goods in the warehouse using a forklift
- Ensure efficient order verification using basic math skills
- Maintain a fast-paced work environment
- Utilize knowledge of order fulfillment processes and shipping / receiving procedures
- Operate a forklift, if experienced
- Leverage knowledge of warehouse management systems for efficient operations
- Perform clerical duties related to shipping and inventory management
- Use ERP Solutions, Epic Software, and Cerner Technologies to process and track orders
- Handle inbound calls and provide customer assistance when necessary
- Conduct audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with shipping and inventory management policies
- Use ADP - Financial Services for financial tracking and reporting
- Create charts and graphs to visually represent shipping and inventory data.
- Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services is necessary
- Familiarity with Cerner Technologies is required
- Experience with Epic Software is a must
- Knowledge in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is essential
- Ability to use ERP Solutions effectively
- Experience with About Time software is desirable
- Skill in Answering Inbound Calls is required
- Auditing skills are necessary
- Ability to create and interpret Charts - Graphs
- Proficiency in Clerical Duties is essential
